The Hive will offer clearly identified, easily accessible points of care in the community that provide rapid access to services – no service refusal, no referral needed, and access to high quality, youth-appropriate, culturally-relevant, and evidence-informed mental health services. In addition, The Hive will offer a wide variety of programs based on the needs of wellness. The National Wellness Institute promotes ‘Six Dimensions of Wellness’: emotional, occupational, physical, social, intellectual, and spiritual. Addressing all six dimensions of wellness in our lives builds a holistic sense of wellness and fulfillment.
Using the ‘Six Dimensions of Wellness’ as a guide for activity and resource planning, we will seek out partners and offer opportunities for the youth participants to be wholly engaged in health.
